Being surrounded by intellectual people on the internet helped me understand why intellectual people are often very reserved.
They stay quiet because of these reasons.
Intelligent People Love to Listen; and Learn
This affection for learning plays a tremendous job in a conversation because you get to know more about the other person when you listen rather than.
Which why smart individuals like to listen, analyze and think about what is being said instead speaking of themselves.

They are not interested in the subject
Most insightful individuals are not keen on casual chitchat and will in this manner not interact with individuals discussing inconsequential and pointless subjects.
In any case, when you discover something that sparks their interest, they will often speak a lot!

This makes it hard for them to sometimes say what they think since they have no practice talking with others or that they haven’t spent enough energy with them.

They are Generally Too Kind to Disrupt others.

As far as I can tell, I have experienced that intelligent individuals that don’t talk are significantly kinder than the ones who gab.
They have an inner knowing that the conversation is imperative to other people and will subsequently leave the topic be, rather listening and not speaking for the sake of others.

There is Too Much on their Mind
Intellectual people think… a lot. This can turn into a genuine issue when they overthink and over-analyze everything that transpires.
This habit makes them smart and brilliant, yet in addition bound to get discouraged and it even affects their conversation.
Since they think too much, they will have a hundred progressively significant things they need to consider before they can invest their attention on the conversation.
