The Philippine Long Distance Telephone (PLDT) Company made an update with regards to their modems and routers. This is due to the advent of modern technology with advanced security features. These changes include different admin accounts within the line of their modem providers.
Different router and modem providers offer different ways of logging into their respective products.
Basically, the easiest way to access the admin panel of the modem is through the IP address 192.168.1.1. However, this isn’t the case anymore. There are additional extensions and, changes in the link before you access the specific modem.
In this article, we’ll solve this inquiry.
Please be guided about what kind of modem you have. Remember, the different modem has its own different admin user/password.

How to Access the Admin Panel
As mentioned above, each of the modems has its own IP address, you just have to check which modem you are using. Yet, if you can’t access the IP address, you might consider using the “COMMAND PROMPT“.
Press “Start” button, type in “cmd” then type in, “ipconfig”. Find the default gateway, then you will be able to distinguish the IP address of the modem you are using.
In this example, the IP address of the router we are using is “10.0.0.1”. Why? because aside from the modem provided by the PLDT, we also connected a router. This serves our default gateway going to the modem itself.
If you don’t have any attached device or router on the PLDT modem, then most probably you’ll get an IP address of 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1.
If none of these works, better to call on their support team.
