Knights of Rizal – Cabanatuan City held its 2nd Installation Rites

On February 27, 2021, Knights of Rizal – Cabanatuan City held its 2nd Initiation, elevation, and installation rites at Deluxe Hotel and Restaurant, Cabanatuan City.

Before the dubbing of postulants, Sir Xiao Chua, KCR, open the ceremony through his speech. He expressed his gratitude to the postulants. In his speech, he said, as a member of the Order, all brother knights should uphold the teachings of our national hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal. The word “Love” highlighted his speech. That the love for the motherland should always come first.

Thereafter, there were 8 men who was dubbed to the 1st Degree of the Order. Sirs, Rene Abiva KR, Jay Belmonte KR, Francis Joshue De Guzman KR, Alen Paul Madriaga KR, Rodrigo R Menorca KR, John Paul Miranda KR, Oscar Oganiza KR, and Christian Pangan KR.

The Knighthood Ceremony and Rituals was spearheaded by the Supreme Pursuivant, Sir Mark Roy L. Boado, KGOR, from the KOR-IHQ.

After the initiation, they were then elevated to the 2nd Degree of the Order due to their election as officers of the Cabanatuan City Chapter.

Right after the elevation, the lifetime member award was conferred to Sirs LJ Panganiban KCR, and Sir Balaria, KCR of the Haribon Chapter.

After the ceremony, Sir Elihu A. Ybañez, Supreme Commander of the Knights of Rizal, shared his thoughts and fraternal message for the chapter and members through Sir Mark Roy L. Boado, KGOR. In his letter, he expressed his appreciation to the members. He also added that all members should emulate the life of Rizal, and strive harder to achieve the lofty goals of the Order.

Knight of Rizal Chapters, Haribon, Sucesos, Nueva Vizcaya MMXX, Valenzuela, and IHQ were also present at the ceremony. Eagle Scouts of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Nueva Ecija Council were also part of the ceremony.
