Google Chrome
Let’s assume that you are using Google Chrome web browser while reading this article. Your first step is to go to history by using CTRL + H. It is the keyboard shortcut to open the history tab. On the left sidebar, click on the “Clear browsing history”. Settings will pop up, select the history you want to delete, then click on “Clear data”.
Chrome on Mobile
In mobile, tap on the three (3) buttons shown on the screen. A tab will pop out, tap on History > Clear Browsing Data > select the options you want to delete,
Mozilla Firefox
Ok, so you are using Mozilla Firefox. Here are the simple steps to clear the cache. Click the Hamburger Menu at the top right corner of the browser. Click Options >Privacy & Security. Scroll down and look for the “Clear History” button.
Next time, if you want to use Mozilla, and you don’t want it to track you, you can disable its history tracking function by toggling Remember History to Never Remember History.
Microsoft Edge
Microsoft recently updated its internet explorer. And now, they are using Microsoft Edge. When you install a Windows 10 Operating system, Microsoft edge is the default browser, if you are using it for a while, then you may also want to clear its browsing history.
The first step to clear its browsing history is by keying CTRL + H. History settings will pop at the right side of the browser. Click on the three (3) dots and select Clear browsing data. A new tab will open, and it will give you options on how you want to delete your browsing history.
Safari
If you are a Mac user, most probably you are using Safari. The simplest way to clear the browsing history of safari is by clicking History > Clear History. A message will pop out, giving you options on how you would want to delete your browsing history.
Safari on iPhone
If you are an iPhone user, clearing and deleting the browser history is quite tricky. Got o Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data.
